In case you have missed our news and leaks post on Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, this post will get you covered. Just a week before the unveiling event of Samsung Galaxy Note 10, the South Korean Giant announced the latest flagship tablet – Samsung Galaxy Tab S6.
For those who don’t know, the Tab S6 is the successor to Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 which was released last year. Sharing a few features with its successor and bringing a ton of powerful ones, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is really great yet expensive.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 – All Features In One Place!
Just like its successor, the Tab S6 dominates a 10.5” AMOLED display with a strong resolution of 2,560 x 1,600. Even though the display size remains the same as that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, the Tab S6 is overall awesomely smaller and lighter.
The weight of this new tab from Samsung is 420g that makes it around 8g lighter than the previous tab, which weighs 428g. In addition to that, the rear of the tab is greatly revamped, one of the most amazing things that we love about Tab S6.
There is a 13MP primary camera sensor and a 5MP depth sensor at the back of the tab while featuring a rear-mounted grove that houses the S-Pen magnificently, just below the cam lenses. There is also a timeless logo of the company in the middle of the tab that simply adorns the rear.
Coming to the front of the tab is 8MP front-facing camera that supports facial recognition. It also has four AKG-tuned speakers and a USB-C port. Unfortunately, you won’t find a headphone jack in the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. This is for the first time that a Samsung’s tab has ditched the headphone jack and we think it is for the best.
Thankfully, the S-Pen supports wireless charging and the magnetic groove at the rear of the tab charges the S-Pen, which color matches with the Galaxy tab S6. The S-Pen of this tab also comes with the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support, making it more productive.
Moreover, the Galaxy Tab S6 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, 6 or 8GB of RAM, 128 or 256GB of expandable storage, and a 7,040 mAh battery. Additional features that come packed inside this beauty are:
- Samsung DeX
- Four Pogo Pins
- One UI
- Android Pie
It will also be available in three beautiful colors – Cloud Blue, Mountain Grey, and Rose Blush. The tablet will also be available in LTE and Wi-Fi only versions.
All These Features Don’t Come Cheap…
Yes, all these features come with an expensive price tag, though. It starts at $650 (6GB RAM + 128GB Storage), and that’s without the keyboard cover. If you want that, it’ll cost you an extra $180, bringing the grand total to $830.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will be available for pre-order on Friday, 23rd August, while the retail availability begins September 6th.
