After installing the firmware file on your PC that is appropriate for your mobile device, the next step you need to do is to backup all of your data, as the installation process requires factory data reset. After you backup, follow the given steps:
1. Download Firmware & Install Windows Software

2. Extract Firmware and Odin
Now extract the firmware software file now using an extracting software. Repeat the process for the Odin file as well.
3. Boot into Download Mode
Now take your Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus, disconnect it if it is already connected to your PC and boot into the download mode. For this, power off your device and wait around 6 to 7 seconds after the screen goes off. Press and hold the Volume down + Home + Power button together until you see the warning sign. Press the Volume up button to continue to download mode.
4. Open Samsung Odin and Connect your Device
Now open Odin file on your PC and connect your device using the USB data cable. Odin should recognize your device and you will see an “Added” message on the screen.
5. Load the Firmware file into Odin
Now click the AP button on Odin and select the .tar.md5 file from the software. Now load the firmware file into the Odin. Once the file is loaded, click on the Options tab to ensure that the “RE-PARTITION” box is not selected. Now go back to log tab again and wait for the installation process to complete. After the installation gets completed, you will get a PASS message on the screen.
That is it. Now wait and let your device restart automatically and when it does, you will enter into a completely new interface and software called “ANDROID PIE”. Congrats, you have successfully downloaded and installed Android Pie Stock ROM on Galaxy S9 Plus.
