Download & Install Samsung Galaxy S10 Stock ROM Firmware (Android Pie)
In order to install the correct firmware file, the first thing you need to do is to find out the correct model number of your Samsung Galaxy S10. Once you know the model number (SM-G970 – Galaxy S10E), (SM-G973 – Galaxy S10), (SM-G975 – Galaxy S10 Plus), you can download the firmware file on your PC. Make sure to fully charge your device beginning the process as this process will take some time.

After you have downloaded the correct firmware file, follow the following installation guide:
1. Install Samsung USB Driver for Galaxy S10 and Odin
Now that you have downloaded the firmware file based on your device’s model number, the next thing you need to do is to install the Samsung USB driver on your PC. After installing the USB driver, you need to download and extract the Samsung Odin file as well. For this, you can use free software like 7-zip for this. Install 7-zip, then right click on firmware file and under 7-zip, select ‘Extract here’. You should get a file in .tar.md5 format now.
2. Boot Samsung Galaxy S10 Into Download Mode
After extracting and downloading all the necessary files on the PC, the next thing you need to do is to boot your device into download mode. But before you begin that, make sure that your smartphone is not connected to your PC. Once your phone is disconnected, power off your device and wait for a few seconds after the phone goes off. After that, press and hold the three “Volume Down Key + Bixby Button + Power button” buttons together, until you see a warning sign on the screen. Now press the “Volume Up” button to continue and boot your Samsung Galaxy S10 into Download Mode.
3. Run Samsung ODIN
Now open the Samsung Odin program on your windows that you have extracted before.
4. Connect your Samsung Galaxy S10 to PC
Now you need to connect your Galaxy S10 device to the PC using the USB cable. As soon as you connect the phone, Samsung Odin should recognize your device. When it recognizes your phone, an “Added” message will appear on the screen.
Note: You cannot proceed until you get the “Added” message.
5. Load the Samsung Galaxy S10 Firmware File into Odin
Now the next step is to load the firmware file into the Odin. Click the AP button on Odin and the select the .tar.md5 file from above.
6. Make Sure Re-partition Checkbox is Not Selected
Click on the Options tab in the Odin and make sure that the Re-partition box is not selected. The Log tab will show the progress of the Firmware installation. Don’t ever use the Pit Tab from the Samsung Odin software.
7. Flash the Galaxy S10 Firmware
Verify that everything is okay – as mentioned in step #6. After that, click on the start button on the Odin now to start flashing the firmware on your Galaxy S10 device. This will take some time, so you need to be patient.
After the flashing process is done, your phone will reboot automatically. You will get a PASS message upon successful installation from Odin. That’s it.
