You might be craving for Kinder Surprise in Android’s new update this time, but believe us, it is not going to happen. This time, Google has ditched the dessert item name for the next Android update and according to us, it is a pretty good name.
According to the developers, the new update that has already publicly released for some phones should be more practical in numbers and easy to opt for global users. So the update has been named as Android 10 and it has been started rolling out for Google Pixel as well as other Android devices including Essential PH, Redmi K20 Pro.

With this being said, the update’s rollout is not far from Samsung’s latest flagship models – Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Although the latest flagship Note models are stars in the “Galaxy” but the users are looking to get a new interface in their brand new smartphone. Fortunately, Samsung has already started working on their version of Android 10 update and it is expected that the update process will start soon.
In fact, it has been suggested by a few sources that this update might be announced at the Samsung Developer Conference by October 2019. That’s a relief! Right?
Before we get our hands on the newest Android 10 update, let’s take a look at what it is going to look on the newest Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus devices.
Android 10 Release Date & Features for Samsung Galaxy Note10 / Note10 Plus
Here are some features of Android 10 that you can enjoy on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus.
1. Privacy First
Android 10 focuses on privacy, the most. This area covers lots of aspects of privacy. This includes:
- Limiting apps’ access for your location
- Finer controls for file management
- Restricting access to device identifiers including IMEI, serial number, ID card, etc.
This feature is specifically made for deaf users. This would work like subtitles and will work live on the videos as well as the audio podcasts and audio messages. This way, the deaf can read what they can’t hear. Great?
3. Dark Theme
Dark theme is easy on your eyes as well as on your phone’s battery. This new theme will darken the background and interface, reducing the strain on your eyes and saves you a ton of battery life. Live-saver, right?
4. Foldable Screen Support
This feature is made specifically for the Samsung Fold that includes better support for detecting when an app has been paused (perhaps when a display is folded) and when it needs to be resumed (after opening the device), as well as enhanced support for resizing of apps.
5. Focus Mode
This one is an improved version of letting you focus on what that matters. This will improve your digital wellbeing and comes with an enhanced user interface and a few tweaks that you will love.
In addition to that, there are developer tools, face ID-style authentication for logins and purchases, gesture controls and much more. But we expect that Samsung would add more interesting and unique features soon in this Android 10 software update for Samsung Galaxy Note and Note 10 Plus.
